Italy is wonderful. If you are into Reniassance art, Florence is an absolute must to visit. There you can see Michaelangelo's statue of David at the Accademia Museum. There is also the Ufizzi Museum which houses some of the most magnificent artwork. There is the Duomo, the second largest church in Italy.

Rome is a must, also. There you will see incredible fountains, like Trevi Fountain and the Fountain of the Four Rivers. Lots of work by Bernini. Also the Roman Forum, Colliseum and you can't miss The Vatican and St. Peter's Bascillica, the largest church in the world.

Pompeii is an awesome place to visit, too. The National Museum in Naples houses the aritifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

The food is good, and the people are nice. But beware of pickpockets. There are gypsies there who make their living of of unsuspecting tourists.

You must go! The land is beautiful, rich in history, warm and friendly, a little expensive because of the US dollar. We were just in Rome and could live there. We used www.worldby.com to find great accommodations at very reasonable prices. Family and friends have visited Florence and love it the best. Enjoy.
