October is a very strange month: it can be very cold, but sometimes it's sunny and warm, so I think you have to bring a jacket and some sweaters.
If you want see many museums and eat in restaurants you need a lot of money. In this moment euro is very strong and for foreign people shopping is not convenient.
Excuse for my bad english but i'm italian.
If you want others informations send me a message and i'll try to help you.
Bye. |

I went to Italy this past April. I believe that the weather in October is pretty unpredictable. My trip cost me about $2,700. This included hotels, meals, anything i bought while over there, museums and other historical things, and a tour. Pack lightly--you will think that you need a lot more than you actually do. Watch out for pick-pockets!! You have probably heard rumors, but don't let them scare you. You just have to be aware. Bring a jacket with pockets on the inside. I got a nice jacket from www.travelsmith.com for my trip, and it had pockets on the inside that could fit my camera, my passport, and money. Also, while traveling around, do not bring a backpack, or anything with a zipper. Those pick-pockets are very crafty! Just be aware, and you should be fine.
Italy is the most beautiful, amazing place I have ever seen. It is like a whole different world, and you will never ever forget the adventures you had there! Good luck! Contact me if you have any questions |

The amount of money depends on the kind of trip you are going to take. Keep in mind that Europe is more expensive than the US.
October in Rome is generally beautiful, not too hot, not too cold.
About what to pack, have a look at my page |
