Money = "soldi" or "denaro" in italian.
At the moment, the currency in Italy is Euro (without "s" at the end of the word).

let me tell you before the Euro it was the Lire and that was all they used until they came into the European Union life I believe now it's up to 30 countries now and the Euro is really strong.

Soldi...i'm italian!

Danny P
soldi

but the currency is money

Stan
Am I the only one here that remembers "lira"? Good grief.

The currency is currently the Euro. When I was *yet* an old man it was the "lira".

There are two words for "money" which are more generic "soldi" and "denaro."
