whatever you choose, do NOT write "Ti amo" or anything coming of the verb "amare" - to love. "Ti amo" is only for lovers, It kind of means "I lust you". Not for your mum, trust me.
Instead of ti amo, you say "Ti Voglio Bene" which means "I Love You" and you would say it to good friends and family.
If you want to more elaborate, you could write "Tutte il bene del monda alla mia mamma cara" which means "All the kisses in the world to my darling mother".

Or you can say this other:"Sei stata e sei ancora la mia compagna di vita preferita,mamma", that means "you was and you are still my favourite life's companion,mum".

the mother figure is very important especially for the males.. they use it whenever they do something advised by the mother, or when they just don't mind anything wrong done by the mother...

it's translated in what mummy says goes, and mummy is the best just because she's mummy...

don't just go up to your mum and tell her this, but you can use it in conversations... or when someone crosses her, or when you just do as she says...

which is I love you, ti amo is i love you too but only used between a couple.
