What is considered "Taboo" in Italy?

Show all answers

pierluisa
We consider taboo most of the things that are considered taboo in the western world... I can't really think of anything specific...Well... don't go and ask a girl straight in the face "will you have sex with me" the first time you see her: she will not like it!!!
Other than that, in SOME churches you are asked to cover your shoulders or your legs (no hotpants please!) not only if you are a woman, but also if you are a man... it really depend on the priest.
One thing that comes to mind: if you visit a private house, do not take off your shoes (as they do in Canada, for example): we are not used to it. Ask me if you have specific questions.

alexeverwander
If you're a woman, you shouldn't walk into any of the churches with bare shoulders. They don't like that.

Good service apparently.
