Ok, now that everyone else got teh jokes out of the way.....
Here are a few options that I can give you without knowing who you are, if you are male/female, what you are interested in, etc....
First off, been to Sicily and it is very safe. The "mafia" exists, but with all due respect, they really do not care about you and me. We are not that important...however, you might want to watch out for pickpockets....
Anyway, attractions;
1) Etna ( the vulcano ). You can spend half the day there and actually hike or take a 4x4 to the rim. Lots of fun but dress warm.... Awesome views, good exercise and there is even a restaurant.
2) GOLE DELL'ALCANTARA - Bring a bathing suit.... They are natural springs that for a river.... Very scenic, very nice place. The park is actually well stocked as well.
3) Taormina - A nice little town with lots to do for tourists....however there are lots of tourists. There is also an ancient Saracean castle, a monastary and an ancient Greek theater where they still show movies. Etna is the backdrop along with the ocean. The view in itself is spectacular.....
4) The cities.... They all contain history, art, culture....just like all cities in Italy. Take your pick there. ;-)
5) I could go on and on and on and on.... but I do have to get back to reality and I am getting depressed being here in North America.... Anyway, point is there is lots to do in Sicily. The locals are a great resource to use. If you become friendly with them, they will help you out until the end of time. Get on their good side and you will have friends forever.
Good luck and have a great time. Remember, when in Italy, leave your American ways at home. |

If your females or males... I will assume you like to meet and party.
Okay in Catania you have lots of clubs, places like Binachers, its on the beach, ask anyone they will know. or the whole mix right around Via Etna in the city center. There are also really great beaches in Cefalu, Lipari, and Fontana Biancha (near Siracusa) If you live in Palermo, then there is some night life around the center of town. Stay away from the ports they are bad. There is also mountain climbing, for Mt Etna, There are really nice beaches in Lipari, id go check that out.
Best night club in all of sicily Binachers... |

What days are you coming? Usually everyone around here goes to the public beach and they got lots of clubs near the beach with hotels right across the street. |
