Could I list everything in one answer? The food of the different regions, the art, both painted and sculpted. When I saw the Pieta, I wept. David is magnificent. The architecture of ancient Rome. The crafts, the history, the people. So outgoing and friendly and then men are very handsome. They are snappy dressers. Pompeii is incredible. I spent a lot of time in southern Italy but did visit the north a few times. I LOVE it.

Italy has not to be considered only as a "something touristic" and nothing more.
Yes,the food, the history,Ferrari,Armani etc, yes, but the most important is the style of life, the rhythm, that Italians are able to give to the life in general.
Differently,"why, everybody would like to live there ? "
It has to be a deeper reason in it,isn't it?
Example " the word globalization,to us,sounds a little bit impossible, far from our culture and threatening it and all the good things coming with it.Like destroying centuries of preparation for what we do have now ".
Of course,we are not a perfect country,we do have a lot of problems to solve, but,at least,we try to live our life's smiling and enjoining it.(In the Italian way).

Pizza, pasta, attractive people,, lots of monument type things such as the colisseum, leaning tower of pisa, crazy drivers/mopeds.....hmm there are probably a few more, but theyre some of the main ones that spring to mind

Pizza --- but I did not like their pizza! It was not what I expected. Not American style pizza.
