Legal age for consent in Italy is 14 (regardless the age of the other person); exception are: if the difference of age is no more than three years, than legal age is 13 (in fact means "between minors of 18" legal age is 13); but if the other person has a kind of influence on the minor (for instance, a teacher) then legal age is 16.
There's no difference between heterosexual and homosexual relation.
And is anyway illegal sex for money to a person lower than 16.
Don't care what other people people say, that is what Codice Penale (Italian Penal code) CLEARLY state. [law was changed in 1996, since then legal age was 16]
Also it doesn't matter your citizenship: you must respect all the law of the Country where you are, not the one where you are from.
