Lecce and Salento in the south east it's a beautiful region where there is a mix of middle eastern and european culture. The sea is beautiful, the food very good and genuine, the landscape is fantastic and art is everywhere.

Rome, you have a combination of modern and old world. There is really a lot to do with so many people of all nationalities, not to mention breathtaking monuments.

I'd say Rome. You get Vatican City, the Colosseum, the Forum ruins. Very historic.

Definitely Mondavio - only a little city but I love it

Well, Rome is really full of history and museums and stuff, but also is pretty highly populated and doesn't have as much natural beauty. Naples has a really cool museum but is very packed and trashy. Sorrento is on the West Coast viewing the Mediterranean and is beautiful, and also has small shops that are good for buying souvenirs. Pompeii is fun to see the remnants from the volcano. It all depends what you're going to Italy for.

I love Florence. They have the best collection of Renaissance artwork in Europe, a wealth of history, everything's well preserved and tourist friendly, most people can speak some English, and there's a district where cars aren't allowed (I love how much that changes the pace of the city when there aren't cars) but it's still really accessible on foot.

Roma
Firenze
Venezia
Siena are really worth seeing.

The top three and probably most popular are
Rome
Florence
Venice

I liked Venice the most when I visited, but of course all of the cities have a little bit of magic in them!

Third Ear
Bellagio on Lake Como in Northern Italy. Bellagio is often called the prettiest town in all of Europe.
