What is the best way to get from Ireland to Rome on the weekend of the Rugby?

Ireland and Italy are playing on the 15th of February and I'm trying to sort out a way of getting there...however a lot of the flights from Dublin to Rome are already booked and what isn't has gotten very expensive! Anyone any thoughts?

Yes, you might have some luck if you tried searching for flights to Rome using Kayak.
Check out this page http://www.romanlife-romeitaly.com/cheap-airline-tickets-to-italy.html it gives tips about finding cheap airline tickets to Italy and Rome.
Kayak will search hundreds of different airline companies and routes and as long as you're a little flexible it should return plenty of options to suit your budget and dates.

As the first answer said, best to go to London (cheap with Ryanair) and from there a flight to Rome.
