Winter are very cold and humid plus many times it will freeze during the night we call it Brina and means Ice specially on grass and roads...fogs are quite often as well and during the night is often below 0 centigrade, wind can be cold as well and often rain or snow on Alps...all this start at half november and last up to the end of march generally..

Summer is very hot, specially the big cities can reach easily 40 centigrade is often humid and sultry and difficolt to sleep at night as only along the coasts you can feel a bit of breeze...air conditioner is the best choise or you wont get any sleep plus not good idea stay with open window either...the only one who will come inside the house is not the breeze but an army of mosquitos...so air conditioned and this last since june to the end of august

in the north winters are cold(with snow and temp easly dropping below 0°C) summers are hot and wet

It depends on the city, but I can assure you is the worst one. During autumn and winter it rains a lot and summer is usually very hot. South Italy's climate is actually better, winters are not so cold and summers are hot but usually windy.

hi, the cold in the northern italy will arrive soon...bye

Hot summers and cold winters.

Im in Milan where summer was hot up to 90° F etc for days and days where even a thin t-shirt had you sweating and hot outside.

Winters however get cold with even snow at the height of Milan, etc

In this period northern Italy is a cold place..

I live in West Virginia, and my sister lives in northern Italy, and for the most part, our weather is usually comparable. Right now, we are a little warmer than they are.

The Northern part of Italy has hot summers and cold winter, although the temperature rarely drops below freezing during the daytime.

I live in northen Italy.. in general it depends on where you are.. in the mountains it's cool in summer, whereas cold in winter.. but well it's warmer than England.. and it rains less...

stramboide
more or less like north usa but less cold in winter(new york less 20C,milan less3C) in winter

Lisa
This week it was cloudy and rainy...
Summers are hot and dry and winters are cold ... But the climate is not the same in this period !
For example Trieste is a very particular city - it is sometimes windy ( a srtong wind !), Milano is often foggy, etc...
I'm from Turin, What do you need exactly ?
