Italian is a safe bet for any Italian city.

Commedia Dantesca
Venezia, Venice in English, is in Italy, so the language spoken is Italian.

elrindin
The official language is italian, but many people speak "veneziano" that is a dialect of the city, similar to "veneto" (the dialect of the region).
If you need something else contact me.
I live near there ^^

i'm sure you mean venice...

they speak italian, however in italy each region, has a dialect of it s own...

besides they use words which are used only in venice... latin diversification happened differently because the unification of italy happened in 1856 or something... and the language of standard italian is a refelction of the 1300 's inspired by Dante... venice has had different influx and influences thus the dialect is different.

In Venice the official language is Italian.

But people born and bred in Venice speak a local dialect called Veneziano. This is similar to Italian, but has notable structural differences from Italian proper.

Erzsebet
venezia is in italy, so italian is the language used there..

ehy Brizzle, sicilian is not a language! sicilian is only the dialect of the Sicily! but Venezia isn't in sicily, it's so far away!
only the illiterates or vulgar people speak dialect.. but the accent is many different in the different regions..
