What is the weather like in Trieste, Italy?

I might be moving there for a year, so I want to know what to bring.

In winter the temperature is not so low, but there is a wind called Bora which is very cold and it can reach speeds higher than 100 km/h.
The Bora can be of two types: "bora chiara" and "bora scura" (literally means light bora and dark bora).
When the bora chiara blows there is high pressure and there are no clouds and the perceived temperature are lower than the real.
When the bora scura blows there is low pressure so it can also rain.
In summer the temperature is almost always over the 25 °C.

Trieste is known as the ''Windy city''!! Look for the ''Bora di Trieste''! ''Bora'' is a kind of wind. Anyway it's not always windy...but when the wind comes is very very strong... Beautiful people in Trieste..maybe you go there to study...

Trieste, Italy is known as a Windy city. Similar to Chicago. Their weather is usually similar to ours. Warm in the summer and cold in the winter so it depends on when your leaving. I would bring more sweaters.

tupelo
very windy!

High 70's-Low 80's in the summer, and 40's in the winter (those are the highs, it gets colder at night obviously). Around now it's in the high 50's.

You should go to www.weather.com and check it out, they have a lot of information on Trieste including yearly averages, more concrete monthly averages and stuff for snow, rain, ect.
