Mostly skiing,snowboarding...not much....Aprica in Italy (in the Lombardia region) Northern Italy...is a large resort with 20 lifts (6 chair lifts, 12 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible (3510 feet) of vertical descent. Aprica has 21 pistes with a total length of (25 miles). Aprica is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 14 kilometers (9 miles) of cross country ski trails at Aprica. The majority of the pistes at Aprica are covered by snowmaking. The closest airport is at Milan / Milano but the transfer time is 2 hours. The nearest train station to Aprica is at Sondrio. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Aprica. |
