hi, my name is cassandra and i come from italy.
during my birthday I go out with all my friends.
in the evening, we eat all together and then, when there is the cake, they give me the presents

trabia
they are right but they have forgotten an important use:

all your relatives and friends pull your ears so many times as your years are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Project? LOL
anyway we celebrate our birthday generally doing a party (at home or in a club) we can do it in a restaurant as well...it depends how much you want to spend....friends bring a gift and a big cake with lots of candles (the same amount of your age) are on the table....drinks as well and sweets or salads, lots of people get pics of you and all friends togheter plus sometime they use camera to film all of it

Usually what happens in Italy is not that much different, the only thing is that depending on your age usually you have dinner with family and cake and then presents and then if your older well you go out with your friends to the we ours of the morning and that about it, and ok sometimes you can friends over to party but mosy of the time it out to dance or just to go some where.

LOL it's my birthday today. It depends on people and age, etc. I am 22 today and the usual birthday party for someone my age or late teens would be going out at night to eat or having a party at someone's house (either the person whose bday it is or a friend) with cake and the usual and maybe then to a club, dancing, hanging out, drinking etc.

stramboide
i hide myself because i don't want to offer dinner to my friends.too money...

...and we sing:
"tanti auguri a teeeee, tanti auguri a teeeeeeee, tanti auguri feliciiiii, tanti auguri a teeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
rather than
"happy birthday to youuuuuuuu, happy birthday to youuuuuuuu, happy birthday (name), happy birthday to youuuuuuuu"!

(clapping hands , candles on the cake, etc.)

just like you do :)

don't worry, its EXACTLY the same.
