What kind of clothes are "in" this winter in Italy? |
I'm going on an exchange trip to Italy during December and January. I'm not sure what area I will be staying in yet, so I'm not sure about climate, but I want to know what sorts of clothes and shoes are "in" for this winter and if what I own now will look really out-dated. |

I think if you watch the windows immediately understand what is "in" in Italy, because when something is fashionable shops all adapt.
However are still fashionable boots with tight trousers, pullovers of wool also in colors purple and dark green, jackets not very long. |

In italy, clothes are very important, because they introduce the person to the others.
However, jeans are always cool, shoes...nike, adidas, converse, all star..., the jumper and sweatshirt are the most dressed by young people in winter, color and size aren't so important, but they must attract the attention.
(we love the hard rock cafe's t-shirt!)

your going in winter..it will be cold, italy is not miami..
don't worry about clothes, you can wear whatever you have, no one really cares, everyone dresses differently, especially in the big cities. clothes are very expensive in italy, and they are in euros..so i would not recommend shopping. |

Warm clothes as Italy in December is pretty cold. If you are young a pair of jeans, jumpers and a warm coat or jacket could be ok. Italians usulally care about fashion even if chinese clothes are spreading everywhere very fast.
Have a look in internet
Enjoy your staying in Italy
ciao e buon divertimento! |
