Judging on your pic and your last question I assume you don't want a dress... you want to know how you should dress....
So you say you have suits.. how about a nicely tailored black suit.. and a collar shirt.. preferably white ...but colors do add a sense of pizazz if i may.. make sure the shirt has french cuffs.. and dress it up with some really nice cuff links.... & some attractive black shoes... leave the tie @ home that would just be too formal.... and don't button all the buttons on the jacket...
hint: first buton = sometimes
second button= always
third button= never

oh! and don't button the shirt all the way to the top.. leave the first 2 buttons open...

Lastly : wear it with confidence and....

maybe you could borrow a black suit from someone..and the shoes... I would say wear the black and white suit with a black shirt and the black and white shoes... but you might wind up looking like a pimp...try it on though....get a fashionable opinion...

no brown and white suit or shoes...that would just be a disaster

and how do you not own a black suit and shoes... it is a must have! never goes out of style...definitely something to invest in... thats like a girl not having the perfect black dress and shoes.. I personally own about 5 black cocktail dresses..and at least 25 pairs of black shoes..

i never been to Hennessy Club but i know it is really really fashionable... choose something easy and black...you'll never get wrong... please...no white shoes on a brown with stripes suit

I would use Interview Magazine and Rolling Stone as style references. Depending on how daring you are, I would go a little rock 'n roll. TV types are all about being noticed without looking like a circus freak. Be your self but kick it up a notch, or two.

ex: By day I would wear a black long sleeved t-shirt, black slacks, flats and pearls. For something like this I would layer more pearls, lower my neckline, put on a sexy skirt and wear high heel sandals.

Are you going there to represent your company or magazine then you can be formal. If your going by invite of a friend then you can go fashionable. If your friend is there as a reviewer of the show (his or her magazine/company) then you can dress formal but stylish.

Why don't you go to a dress shop they would be happy to help you pick out the outfit that would look best for you and fit the occasion.

Eat Fish

You can never go wrong with a little black dress. Accessories will dress it up and make it formal.
