At the moment (in in the north, but more or less the same) it's very mild. Around 15-17 degrees out during the day. Apparently it's going to get really cold later this week though. In theory I would say pretty cold for mid February, but this year certainly hasn't been typical so far. Take a semi-heavy jacket and some jumpers so you can go jacket free if warm. I've seen people on beaches (clothed albeit) one week and the following snowed in the next, so really difficult to say.

They have 14 day forecasts.

click on global weather, Italy and you'll have a lot of
choices as to locale. From my experience, it can be
varied but certainly not hot....take sweaters and light
rain gear along with the rest of your casual clothes....
no down jackets and you might want to take one all
black outfit for night...very big down there.

Usually in Southern Italy like in Sicily it's fairly cool and rainy most of the months of Feb-April.
