The list is too long... You have to go there, stay as far as possible from the tourist trail and tourist, and the answer will just come to you...
One of the most magic moments is at dawn, when the city is empty. It's so magic it makes it surreal.
I think you cannot experience it if you only stay there for 3 days in July... It is so special it really deserves an effort on your part to appreciate it. |

No cars only boats and water and lots of walking. If you go in the boat around the canal you see so many wonderful tings and each calle is so different and you can have the best experiences and laughs there, the gondola guys are a bit expensive but bargain bargain bargain,
you love venice!! (I`m from there) |

because Venice has no streets. it is all water canals. you have to take a water taxi or gondola somewhere. |

Canals, no cars but only boats to move, houses built on water, buildings in venetian gothic style, romantic atmosphere |

Venice has many famous museums and is set on islands connected by bridges, with the Grand Canal as its main street.Traffic moves by boats ranging from the famous gondolas to barges. The rising sea levels of global climate change threaten the city, and even now high tides from the Adriatic Sea can flood whole sections of the city.Hearing how Venice was "created" or "built" makes it all the more unique. All thanks to war and fighting a group of people who were sick of it all wanted to feel free and safe. With the hopes of them not wanting to be attacked again they moved to the wet lands. After building their city it started to flood. They soon built things higher and higher. As they built things higher they also built canals. As time went on it became one of the most wonderful places in the world.[That's what my Italian teacher taught our class anyways]. |
