What part of Italy should I live in when I'm older?

I'm wondering what part of Italy suits me best.
I like gambling (although within reason), I'm not deeply religious, I have no problem with people of all cultures living next to me (as long as they are not trying to shove it down my throat), I enjoy watching good attacking technical football, I don't normally enjoy a loud night life & I enjoy having a laugh and spending time with my friends and family.

Any part of Italy that would suit me best?

If not, any other country?

I'm 20 years old (and of course, I love Italian food)

I would not move to Naples or that area. Its very dirty and very mofia controlled Tuscany is very nice.

Garda Lake area, my homeland. You're close to casinos, Venice, seaside, good climate, Verona, tourism but not too much, good services and transports, etc...
I think it's the best choice.

Genius Cook
Trieste is for you then. You'll find good food, good hard working fun loving honest people, gambling (on the other side of the border), the sea, mountains and all the sport you can handle.

Well I guess the best way to find out is to travel around Italy and see where you like it best....I'm from northern Italy and it's very nice here...depending where you go of course...
You could try around Lake Como or something. It's very, very nice...

Good luck!
Ciao

No doubt about it - Le Marche Italy located on the East Italian coast, halfway down the boot.

This is a scenically beautiful region of Italy, rich in tradition and history and still relatively unknown outside of Italy

An absolutely magnificent region. Lovely scenery, friendly people , great coastline, fantastic food and beautiful historic towns .

I live in Tuscany and I think it's the best region in Italy :P

Reading what you love best, I think north is ok for you. Why not Brescia, just in the middle of nowhere, good food and friendly people, with a lot of green there, and good fresh air (because of its proximity to the mountains and alps and hills and all that, kinda makes me feel like Heidi lived there!)
