You are going to some wonderful place :-) Rome is amazing with the long history, amazing buildings and museums etc. Most people visit Colosseum, Forum, Capitol, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, the Vatican and the Vatican museum (including the Sistine chapel) etc. You should get a guidebook before you go...and maybe read Angels&Demons and get some idea of the city :-) I went there a few years back and here is a trip report with photos that I made when I came home http://gardkarlsen.com/rome_italy.htm
Florence is also very nice. Check out the Uffizi gallery, Palazzo Pitti with the garden, The Duomo...remember that you can climb to the top of the dome, go to Galleria dell’Accademia to check out the David etc. Here is another one of my trip reports http://gardkarlsen.com/florence_italy_travelogue.htm . Be careful ! There are three types of italian boy. The first one is composed (80%) by stupid, egocentric who use the italian "style" to grab you and to use you like an object without feelings.
The second one (19%) is composed by REAL italian boys who are really friendly, maybe shy and romantic. You be lucky if you'll meet them. (most of them have already an italian girlfriend)
The third one (1%) maybe are gay. :-) |

avoid rome florence and venice if you dont want a tourustic journey. you have to find tha right guy for you as soon as possible when you are here, so you can try to sekk him just online before leaving. who seeks, can find! |
