In April in Italy the weather is fairly nice. You want to bring t-shirts, sweat shirts, jeans or other pants. Shoes - I wore sandals but it all depends on what weather you're used to. I live in Canada and in April it's a bit cooler here still so to me the weather was super nice. Bring an umbrella, sun glasses. I always have a thing with showers in hotels. I like to wear my sandals in showers. Also i would suggest bringing one or two towels with you. A lot of hotels seem to have only a few towels and they're quite small. Remember in Europe things are smaller! Try to pack as light as possible, because it's you who has to carry it all around! Don't forget your camera ;) Have fun! Italy is an awesome place to visit
