I've been to Italy, and I'm a teenager myself, and teens there wear pretty much the same thing. Jeans, polos, denim skirts...just with some sort of 'european' twist. Like some crazy looong necklace and bracelets. I just came back from a trip to Greece and people there wore crazy crazy bracelets. Colorful, with lots of dangly things...that might be the same in Italy [I went there this past summer].

Just don't wear any of those tourist-y sandal things or those khaki shorts and hats. That just makes you look...well....tourist-y :P

the same as American teen agers are. I'm Italian and we have so much a similar fashion as there, especially for the young

Jeans, t shirts , tennis shoes. The color black is the safest bet. It is a great bit warmer this year than last year. Pack layers, so you can peel off if you get too warm. But be sure to take a warm puffer for evening because it cools off around 4pm and then gets brisk and cold at night. It has not been a wet year but bring a small umbrella because when it rains in Italy it comes down heavy.

I have been to Italy many times and I plan weddings in Italy. Teenagers this time of the year wear Jeans and Capris. It will be chilly in Northern Italy and Hot in Southern Italy.

hi!! i'm italian!!!!.....we are very simples.....most of the time we wear american clothes..so you can wear what you want!!! bye from italy

Wanda
Capris are very hot and you see them more than shorts. Sandals or flats more than tennis shoes. NO shirts with sayings. Skirts are common - not too short (knee length is most common). Dangly earrings, bracelets, and/or funky necklackes (you can get these there at street vendors). Some places (like the Vatican) you can't go in unless you're "covered" - there are rules about showing bare leg and arms, and they just won't let you in - the only option is to buy these dumb paper pants, so if you're going to visit places like that, take a long skirt and a light long sleeve shirt you can throw on over a tank.

buy in Italy if you want to fit in. American clothes mark you as a tourist.
