What will the weather in Venice be like in September?

I've never been to Italy but have been invited to a wedding in Treviso. What kind of clothes should I take with me? How about shoes? Nice pretty high heel shoes as well as sensible trainers?
Thanks! :)

just answered your other question, the weather should still be warm i was there in september and it was beautiful, but the latter part of the month started to get cooler so take a coat. trainers yes and nice shoes for the wedding, see other post for advice

In September it is still warm. For the wedding a nice dress (neither white, nor black!) and high heel shoes, no casual clothing.

The Lazy Gecko
Fine weather in September, take your nicest gear (they are kind of posh in Treviso, well: let's say they have plenty of money and they like showing off), nice little city though, mentality a bit closed (kind of conservative and money-oriented), if you manage to take a whole day off go and visit Venice (it's only 30 mins away by train.) Yes, I admit it: I am originally from Venice and you need to go and see it before it sinks! We love tourists and if you like arts and culture you will be in the right place!
Have a nice trip and don't worry about the weather: sometimes you can still go swimming in September. As for the clothes, as I told you before, wear whatever you like!

I am italian girl....and I live near Venice...In september the weather is good, not tot hot and to too cold...take a jacket or a cotton mesh for the evening/night because in the night the temperature go down..
