Hiya, anybody know how much they charge for taxi's in rome/how you would get one. Is it like in london where you can just pull one over or call one up? Is it per mile/per minute? Anybody give me ...
I just think its a beautiful country and it would seem wonderful to live there. Where should I start on getting ready to live there? Additional Details I've never even been there ...
I am going to Rome for 3 days at the start of October/ Can anyone suggest a good hotel in the Historical Centre that won't cost me more than 70 pounds / 100 Euros a night please?...
Prices vary a lot depending on exactly when you'll be here in Italy.
One place that I like is the Cesà ri http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/pantheon/hotel_cesari.html It's very close to the Pantheon and a short walk to Piazza Navona. The prices are usually pretty reasonable for Rome.
You can check other options on the Venere website. By using the map feature, you can click on a particular section of the city, including Navona, and narrow down the choices to that specific area. You can also sort by cost, rating, etc.

i stayed at Villa San Lorenzo. its a nice place, includes breakfast and has a nice courtyard. i liked it because its not in the center of Rome so you get the feeling of the actual lifestyle

I have found a 4 star hotel with $79 per night at lastminutetravel.com
You might want to search some hotels on this website. This site always has pretty good deals.
