I would definitely suggest looking now. You may want to keep track of prices, see if they get cheaper during the week and more expensive on weekends, or any other kind of trend. I would not wait until the last minute, sometimes there are deals, but more often then not the longer you wait the more expensive it will be. Try different on line sites too. I recommend Priceline, Travelocity, Oribitz, Cheeptickets.com. Try all of them, see which ones give you the best deals, but DEFINITELY buy on line. They are much much cheaper than going through the airlines. Also, try different departure dates. A lot of times airfare is much cheaper if you fly out on say a Wednesday instead of a Saturday, fly back during the week as well if you can. Look at flying out of different cities too. If you live in one city, but near enough to another, look at the rates from both and see if you can save money that way. But I would start pricing now, the longer you wait, the more expensive it is going to be, and you run a greater chance of the planes being booked. |
