Stay in Venice Mestre at the Golden Tulip hotel. Best bang for your buck... Great service, great rooms, and great breakfast! Hotel is next to the train station that will take you right into Venice, the city, maybe a 10 minute ride. |

Use the Rick Steves guide book. Whe I went to Venice I found a hotel in there that cute, clean, and cheep, it was also right aroung the corner from San Marco. I forget the name but it was great. |
