Where can I find driving rules in Rome, Italy? If we have to go outside Rome, say Florence, by car? ?

How can we go? What is autostrada, etc.

From Rome follow the signs for the A1 (the motorway to Florence). The motorway signs are green,so it'll be easy to see them.
Usually the road signs for extra-urban roads are blue, those for urban roads and places are white, whereas the touristic signs are brown.

When you enter the motorway, you just pick up the ticket and you'll pay the fare when you exit the motorway. The fare from Rome to Florence is €13.80.

Wherever you go, check if there is a motorway going there, it's faster and easier. You have to pay a fare, but you'll save money on the petrol.

If you need directions, that's the best:

Sorry but I don't understand what exactly you want...

However, the fastest and easiest way to reach Florence is using "autostrade" that are the Italian version of your toll motorways

More specifically, "autostrada number 1" (A1) links Rome with Florence... ( you will need more then 3 hours / 3 hours and half)

This is the official website of "autostrade":

Skip driving in rome nowhere to park. On highway, drive like crazy and stay to the right otherwise they will run you over
