Where can I rent a waverunner or Jet ski in Venice Italy?

I will be in Venice tomorrow and would love to rent a personal watercraft, but so far have been unable to find a place to rent from.

Does anyone have experience renting a waverunner in Venice?

You might be able to hire jetskis on the Cavallino peninsula which is accessible by vaporetto from the main part of Venice - http://www.turismocavallino.it/eng/dynalay.asp?PAGINA=6567 However, I doubt you'll be allowed to use one on the canals. You could always head north out of Venice towards Lido de Jesolo where there should be more options.

Where would you plan on using a jet ski in Venice? You might find something like this around the beach area, but you certainly can't use one in the canals or the lagoon. I don't recall ever seeing one around Venice and I spend a lot of time there.

I agree with Conley. Because most of my relatives live along the Adriatic, I recall seeing ski boats south of Venice below Rimini near Pesaro and Ancona
