I live in Rome and the only place where you can eat fresh fish is Fiumicino, about 30 km from Rome

Don't worry - there are thousands of them. Just don't eat in the tourist traps. Eat where the locals eat and you won't go far wrong. If you see a priest eating there - book a table quick.

The Osteria del Pesce is great for seafood. It's at Campo de' Fiori. The fish comes fresh daily from Terracina.

Sa Tanca Crostaceria is also very excellent. http://www.crostaceria.com/index_eng.html

The Hosteria Antica Roma also has some interesting dishes incorporating seafood and is a great location on Via Appia Antica. http://www.anticaroma.it/
