Where is the better city to stay in, Rome, Venice, or milan if you were a 25year old women? |
i would love to be in a town where the people are friendly and where I would be close to other surrounding cities. Im also interested in night life, nothing too crazy just a late night coffee house or nice bars where its ok to go out alone and meet other people. |

Rome, definitely.
Venice is overpopulated with tourists and always chaotic. It also has very little nightlife, as most everything closes around eleven - midnight.
Milan, I found, has the least friendly people than anywhere I've been in Italy. It is also more uptight and less welcoming.
Rome is amazing, even though it's a big city areas like the Trastevere and Campo De Fiori will make you feel like you're in a small town as all the locals seem to know each other and are very friendly. Both of these areas have very good nightlife, and are not too crazy. |

Rome!! There is more going on, more people your age, more places to explore and it is very easy to get anywhere else via plane or train.
Have fun!! |

Milano and Rome are better. Rome is better for tourism but Milano is closer to sorrounding big cities and I believe in 5-6 hr by train you can get to and from Rome-Milano :) |

no question . Rome - you will love it . Venice is nice too , but depending on the season , it might be rainy and then Venice is usually totally flooded , so you can´t really enjoy it . In summer it is so oevrcrowded , that it is also hard to enjoy . Rome is much bigger and does not have this type of problems , meanwhile Milano is a nice city as well , but by far not that " Italian" as Rome . Milano is already more like a Swiss city , it is very close to the border . Typical Milanese residents don´t even look very Italian anymore , they are tall and many have blond hair . |
