Well I am ver pleased to see our school's math teachings are going well and strong. let's just do some deducve reasoning folks. this is to all of you who answered WRONG.
'
if we are living 2009 which is the 21st century. and before that 1999 was the 20th century. 1094 was 915 years ago. but lets no complicate things here. Seeing as the year 1009 is in the same century then lets just do some VERY simple subtraction here folks.

all the best and good luck

11th Century...add one to the first numbers like 2009...add one to 20 and you get the 21st century.
Venice...look up the Borgias who ruled the area at one time...one even became Pope and supposedly had regular incest with his daughter! Lucretia Borgia (famed poisoner)
Also look up the 'Bridge of Sighs'. Piazza San Marco as well.
