Almafi Coast or Cinque Terre

If you are looking for water and mountains I would suggest Lake Como. It's about an hour north of Milano.

All of Italy is very beautiful. but one of my favorite places in italy is Sicily. I love it there. It is so beautiful. the food is great, the people are very nice and fun, and the boys are hot! there's beaches and mountains everywhere, and there is a lot of stuff to see. one of my favorite things there was the greek ruins in Agrigento. and seeing Mt. Etna was awesome too. and of course, Palermo (the capital city) was a great place too.

I dont care what anyone says, Puglia will always be my favorite. It's the region in the "heel" of the "boot", its a peninsula. If you like olive oil and sun, the beach is 30 minutes away left or right.

Every part of Italy is wonderful. The problem is that foreigners just don't know most of the country.
For example, a very few people visit the countryside of Piemonte like Langhe and Monferrato areas with their medieval and baroque towns ond the edge of a hill, their wines and cooking (not pizza).
