How much is "just some money". The amount you spend in Italy depends on which cities you plan on visiting. For example, Milan and Florence tend to be more expensive than Bari. Also, where do you plan on sleeping? A 3-4 star hotel is a lot more expensive than a youth hostel or a camp-ground. Do you plan on eating in restaruants or doing McDonald's or sliced-pizza your entire trip? I live in Italy.
