I am Italian and the sight and smell of peanut butter doesn't bother me.

I have not heard that this is an issue in Italy, although it is true that the product is not well known nor appreciated.

Ciao

Peanut butter is actually good for you, it's loaded with protein. So long as you're only have a table spoon or two.

I bring my friend in Italy peanut butter every year.
