visto che sei italiano ti rispondo in italiano...allora io sono di napoli...e ti posso assicurare che e una delle cittÃ piu belle se non di italia del mondo(quale altra citta ha il mare il golfo di napoli il vesuvio capri iskia sorrento pompei ercolano ecc..)ti dico che secondo me napoli ha un cattivo turisimo xke ha una oessima publicitÃ (criminalitÃ spazzatura ignoranza ecc) i tele giornali non fanno altro che sottoliniare sempre piÃ¹ gli aspetti negativi della cittÃ sensa dire tutti gli aspetti positivi e che bella citta sia napoli...mi fa molto piacere che tu dica che napoli e una bellissima citta..!! grz e Forza napoli!!

Naples is fantastic!!! I don't think I've ever met anyone from Naples that wasn't warm and gracious and friendly. Yes, Naples has a bad reputation for crime, but you have to understand that people who do not travel much internationally have a fear of the unknown. Naples probably has the same amount of crime as say Detroit or Queens, but since it's overseas it's hyped up. There are tourists who believe that Rome is a dangerous place for pick pockets. I've been to rome 8 times and have never seen or been a victim of petty crime. Now Palermo is another story :-) Sadly, Naples is not as popular as some of the other cities in Italy, so unfortunately many people will never see it's beauty and experience it's loveliness and the delicious food.

I prefer the smaller, non-tourist towns in Italy as opposed to the larger ones. I spent 7 days on my honeymoon in Trani in the Puglia region, hardly anyone even knows where Trani is! I love the towns of the south Lecce, Manduria, Matera, Alborobello, Casserta, and Sicily is a favorite of mine!

I miei genitori sono di Ascoli Piceno. Io sono la prima nata qui negli stati uniti! Vado in Italia uno o due volte al anno. Che bello l'italia! Mi manca ogni minuto che non ci sto. Tu scrivi l'inglese piu' bene che io scrivo l'italiano! Mi dispiace che non scriva bene, spero che mi capisca!

I think Naples and its surroundings are truly amazing. I was there for a couple of days in 2006 and I surely want to get another chance to go back there again.

It is true that Naples is not as clean as other Italian cities but I think that the main problem is the traffic jam just to get out of the city to go south (to Pompeii, Positano, etc), mostly because it reminds you a lot of your place "Back Home" and you want to forget all that and be in a more peacefull place. That and the fact that tourist may find some parts of Naples too modern and industrialized and this is not what they are looking for. But everything else about it is great!

I'm from Lima-Peru, and nothing about Naples is worst than here, Pick Pockets, Garbage, Super terrific traffic Jams, street sellers, street beggars, you name it! But even so tourist pasing thru on their way to CUZCO stay for a couple of days and love it. Just the same I loved Naples for being so different from the other italian destinations.

I resent not going to the San Paolo Stadium to watch Napoli vs. Roma or Napoli vs. Palermo, or maybe watch a la Squadra Azzurra play there in an official competition, the closest I got was to go shopping near the stadium wich was very cool.
