Will I be able to find cruelty-free (not tested on animals) products in Italy?
I'm staying in Florence for 4 months... my suitcase is already really heavy so I don't want to pack a lot of lotions and shampoos...will I be able to find these products not tested on animals (or even organic products if possible) there? Are they insanely expensive?
On this Italian site there's a forum devoted to help people visiting Italy: http://www.veganhome.it/community/topics.php?forum=9

In Florence there is a Lush shop; not exactly cheap.
Coop - a supermarket chain - has a cruelty free cosmetic line, and that's cheaper.

Apart from the obvious, like the Body Shop, look out for chemist shops called "Erboristeria". There are loads in Italy and they specialise in herbal medicines and natural cosmetics and shampoos and what-not. Health food shops are popular too in Italy, and if you can find a shop called "Natura Sì" They have a great range of natural products and they're really reasonably priced. Have a nice trip!
