Will I experience any problems in Italy?

Ok, so I am 15 and have blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin.
I know I'll stick out, but do you think I'll have problems with discrimination or anything?
Additional Details
Thanks for your reassurance!
I think I might be worrying too much, but I am traveling alone without my family (I will be with a group of teens I don't know) so I'm a bit nervous.
I've heard tons of great stories about Italy, but I have heard some bad ones. Just want to clear a few things up.

Italians are generally very friendly to tourists. Don't worry I have seen blonde hair/fair skinned Italians even in Southern Italy (Naples). I myself have light hair and fair skin and have been mistaken as Italian.(But I also speak the language and prefer to dress like an Italian).

If you don't won't to look like a tourist invest in some nice clothes before you go or when you arrive. Italians prefer brands like D&G, Dsquared, Armani Jeans, Burberry etc. And if you buy clothes in America before leaving choose neutrals like black, white, navy blue and gray. Maybe something not too expensive like Banana Republic. If your doing a lot of walking buy some converse (or nicer casual/comfortable shoes). I would have to disagree with one of the previous answers that Italians don't like color. Italians love color, but wearing a color out of season is a big NONO. I know I spent most of November, December and the beginning of January hanging with Neapolitans (Italians in Naples) and the men are very conscience of what they wear too.

I would say if you want to get better service dress nice. Italians may only own a few things. But their wardrobes generally have nicer labels in them (the brands I referred to above). They save their money to buy one nice thing rather than going out to Target and getting a lot of crap (no offense)

Not at all. While i'm a little older than you (27), I have blonde hair and blue eyes - I was in Italy last year, and what I noticed about Italians is how much they DON'T pay attention to you - they simply don't care - not in a bad way, but Italians are a lot different than Americans - we seem to check each other out - but Italians will literally walk right into you and still not notice you :-).

A little advice - dress nicely - not like church dress, but classy. I made the stupid mistake of thinking I wouldn't stand out in bright clothing, but Italians are ALWAYS in black, and always look classy. My husband and I had stupid matching light blue jackets and I felt cheesy. Again - no one else noticed, but I did.

Have fun!

Sweethearth you are doing yourself too many problems...
pinching matter, blonde matter...
dont worry here tons of people got blonde hair and blue eyes...they will not rape you for this, make sure all this tales dont make you feel disappointed after been here you will be a girl like any other..
if you are pretty you could experience some flirting still dont worry..they dont insist if you dont want any attention...and if you dont walk in an isolated place at 4 am you wont meet any pinchin maniac i am sure for this and for sure not discrimination...that would be the Us where you live...

For Sheemes sorry to disappoint you but there are LOADS of blondes/blue eyes and fair skinned people in the SOUTH of Italy as well (the Normans been there), on the other way loads of norther are darker...if you only knew something more about this country you would stop to spread misconceptions and ridiculos beliefs to young girls...

No, they get tourists from all over the world. You aren't as unusual as you think you are.

I'm italian, i have 20 years instead, and i have dark air and eyes and I am not racist as the most greater part of Italians then not to worry you. For every thing my contact is: annoiato1988@hotmail.it
Bye :)

NO are you kidding

Italy is right next to switzerland, France, and Austria, most of Northern Italy is lighter skin-ed people with blue eye. The farther south you so the darker the skin gets.

I have been may times, you will fine. The people are great. It not like you are going to some 3 word country.

No, you won't. The reason being is that you will be identified as a tourist. Tourists have money. Businesses want your money. The government of Italy appreciates your tourism dollars and so do the people of Italy.

The downside being is that thieves will also want your money and in Italy they are mostly pick-pockets. Be wary and don't take all your money with you.

You may see racism while you are there: Against the Roma (Gypsies) and the North Africans that will pester you to buy their imitation Gucci and cheap sunglasses at tourist destinations.

As a tourist you are not going to have a problem going into any restaurant or attraction (you must be properly attired to go in some) or hotel.
