not very likely unless there´s a huge earthquake :-D

It was closed to the public for quite a while because they stabilized it with the help of some german engineers and it looked pretty stable last time I was there.. lol.. Pisa is one of my favorite airports to land at because of the tower and the whole area where it stands - it looks awesome when you´re approaching!!

so lets hope it won´t fall!!

cypruspolice
People watch it too much so it probably won't ever fall completely over.

they have stabalized it for about another 300 years.....they are hoping that new technology will arrive to keep it at the same tilt without falling...it would loose its ambience if it was at a 90 degree angle.

I don't think so. It's been standing for this long...

Not likely. Preservationists have already put a great deal of effort into reducing the lean and stabilizing it. Doubt that they will let it fall.

The Italian Government has invested a lot of time and money the past several years in stabilizing the tower and has actually made it somewhat straighter than it was a few years ago as a result of these efforts.

In due time !

It's been standing hundreds of years and most of the lean developed early on. Nowadays it's been counterbalanced to prevent further leaning. It's too important a structure for the authorities to let it fall down so I'm sure they'd come up with something if the need arose.

probably but they have put counter wieghts too help prevent this

No because the tower has underpins in the foundations that are checked regularly
