Wine Tour in Tuscany?
We will be in Florence in late November; I am looking for suggestions or Recommendations for a vineyard tour and wine tasting?
There are a range of tours available throughout Tuscany. This one in the Chianti region is relatively inexpensive: http://www.accidentaltourist.com/
This site is for Castello Pellagio: http://www.castelloilpalagio.it/degustazione/degustazione_e.html
This is one of the higher end tour companies: http://www.tuscan-wine-tours.com/Florence%20wine%20tours.htm
There are a number of options here: http://www.terraditoscana.com/default.aspx?lpg=tour_koine&obj=vino&loc=en
If you've got a car, you can drive through the Chianti region yourself. The drive from Firenze to Siena is very nice. Montepulciano and/or Montalcino are highly recommended.

I didn't do a wine tour when I was in Tuscany. We drove the country side and saw many vineyards but didn't stop at any because of the cost. What we did do was go to a wine tasting shop in Greve in Chianti that had about 100 different wines you could try varying in price from 1 euro to 30 euros. It was awsome to get to taste vintage wines that were 50 years old. A tour would have been a lot of fun but we're glad we got to taste so many more varieties.

Villa Plio its awesome its in the middle of no where. I couldnt tell you how to find it. But if you drive around the back country roads in Tuscany you will see Vinyards all over the place you can almost always just stop by for a tasting.
