Because of laws against child trafficking, foreign minors are not allowed to enter Italy (or any EU destination) if they're not traveling with an adult parent or relative, so you could be detained at arrival by the police and sent back to the US within 24 hours if nobody shows up at the airport with a paper signed by your parents and stamped by the Italian Consulate stating that the bearer has been awarded legal guardianship over you by them. They'll tell you when you go to apply for a working visa (don't even think about going to work in Italy without a proper visa, as penalties against illegal foreign workers have been recently toughened up to five years in jail).

Do your parents know that you'll be going to Italy alone? If not, then it's a very BAD idea to go there on your own without telling them. If they do, they should get a heads-up from somebody at the modeling agency, who should get you a "chaperon" to look after you while in Italy. If they didn't do it, then there's something suspicious about their ethics...

yes learn Italian.

many Italian think English speaker are stupid, so we try not to speak English. It's better you speak Italian.

And actually we don't like so many tourist coming just to see things here, we want them to buy lots of our product and then go home, don't come here without money.

I think the best thing you can do is learning some Italian... most of Italian people don't speak-understand English...

the best thing to do is to learn some Italian, just the basic to help you move around.
Every restaurant has decent healthy food if look around.
15 shouldn't be a problem for traveling, as I 'm 13 but I always go alone to Italy.
hope I helped.

Bad idea.

You might have your luggage lost at the airport, your wallet stolen in the streets, your credit card/mobile number cloned and your meal served at a higher than normal price.
