Country Code 503 is fine, and there is no City Codes, Zone Code or Province Code in El Salvador.
Any telephone number in the Country has EIGHT digits nowadays and yours is NINE. So your number is wrong.
I would bet anything for removing the 3 after "503".
That way 7931-3553 it is definetely a Cell Phone Number, not associated to any City.
