1- No I have not, however, I do live in a part of Texas that is 85% latino.

2- That we're lazy, we're not.

3- I can't think of one off the top of my head, but, I think its demeaning when Jennifer Lopez stars in a movie, and they always give her an Italian name instead of a latina last name.

1. i was jumped by 2 girls in second grade and they ripped chunks of my hair out. they called me a nasty name - which at the time i didn't even know what it meant.

all through elementary school these girls tortured me, stole my things, broke them and made my life miserable.

the irony of it is that I was born in the US, and so were my parents but because I had recently come from overseas and was fluent in Spanish - they assumed that i was not American

2. that they are all the same. people think that mexicans, dominicans, puerto ricans, etc are all the same, but culturally they are as diffferent as the people from the north and south in the US. The language although all Spanish is comprised of different dialects also like in the north and south of the US. In Latinos tough, the difference is so much that there are words are that are ok for one group, but considered curse words in another group.

I think people also think they are dumb and that is far from the truth.

3. As far as games, movies,and commercials, I don't really know. If I see something I find objectionable I will not watch it nor allow my child to watch it I do not encourage intolerance and I also identify myself more as American.

2) ppl think that all latinos are "illegal", which is not true.
3) i havent seen any yet, and hope not to.

3. Idk Last one I remember was the one with the Hispanic chick that gets a call from one of her friends and did some crazy stuff cuz she was smokin weed or something. I can't really think of a specific movie or video game that I feel is degrading although we do usually end up being cholos in those movies/games.

1. Yes, I was confused with a Mexican once. I am a Salvadoran American, big diffrence.

2. "we are all out there to steal American Jobs".

3. As of right now I have not seen any degrading commercials except an increase in Army Recruitment commercials.
