Look up stuff about Machu Pichu on the Internet. The capital is Lima. It is a very cultural place. Lots of llamas lol. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I'm sure there are several cool things about Peru, but something I particularly like are the Nazca Lines. These are drawings that can only be seen from high above the ground, like pictures of a spider and an astronaut to name a couple. Good luck!

The oldest university in America was founded in Peru: the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, founded in 1551.

The first saint from America comes from Peru: Saint Rose of Lima, who lived from 1586 to 1617.

Most of the Incan empire was in what is today Peru.

Peru has the highest city in the world: Cerro de Pasco, at 4.300m of altitude.

It's one of the most multiracial countries in the world. The population is: 42% mixed, 35% native americans, 15% white, 5% black, 3% asian.

Only country outside Asia that had a president of Asian ascents (Alberto Fujimori, 1990-2001)

well, there's a lot of facts, it depends what are you looking for because we have a lot of archaeological places for visit, lately we are knowing as a gastronomic country... I think one of the special stuff that we have is that we have the richest bio-diversities of Earth, i mean we have 3 natural regions: coast, highlands and jungle; and every region has his own culture and festivities and life is very different in each one....
