Anyone from Argentina or who has traveled to Argentina?

My question would be if Argentina has a fine ok health care system or better then here in the U.S?
If like a diabetic in the U.S cant afford medicine in the U.S would that person be able to afford the medicine for free or almost free?

Yes they do have a cutting-edge health care system and they have State funded programs like Medicaid and Medicare but they are restricted to citizens and legal residents only. However, there are a vast number of charities and foundations dedicated to the research of cancer, diabetes and other diseases which offer medical treatment as well as financial support programs.

Contact the Argentinean Society of Diabetes for more info. Best of luck.

I am not from Argentina but I do know for sure that Argentina has a better and cheaper Healthcare system that the United States. And yes, the medication will be cheaper but traveling to Argentina would offset the cost.

If you go to any public hospital which are very good everything will be free, even if you are having surgery.
Now if you go to a private clinic you will have to pay, it's not as expensive as in the states but it will be expensive
