For Central America the best are either Copa (Panama based) or Taca (El Salvador based) They travel anywhere in America and they are reliable and good and somewhat cheap.
Very stupid joke the answerer saying to avoid Tam, very insensitive towards brazilians in general, especially victims and families.

There are cheap flights with Taca, Copa and now Spirit Air is flying to Central America.
