Are uruguayans stuck-up?

I have no reason to believe that, it's just that alot of people say that argentinians are stuck-up and occasionally rascist and since they're next to each other. Just wondering...do uruguayans think they're better than the rest of the people in latin america?

Hi i was born in Salto, Uruguay all my family is from there and i lived there almost all my life...
Yes Uruguayans are really stuck-up!
Specially the people that live in cities like Montevideo and the city where i was born, but as you go further from the city they are less stuck up.
My aunts and grand ma had a popular clothing store i was kind of fat when i was little and they always talked behind my back BAD STUFF, they would give clothes and gifts to my sister bc she was skinny and not me because i was fat, they believe the outside is more important than the inside. They make you feel bad about yourself and they don't like Argentinians bc they feel like they have stolen their accent and native costumes, (which is kind of true we have the same accent and idk why?)...
If i go back to Uruguay it will be just to visit, and to remember my childhood years... but not to live... people there party all the time instead of working..

CherlĂłque RĂ´ulmes
Nope. Uruguayans are nice, funny. But they're very lazy. D:

Wutchyamacallit!
I thought the stuck-ups were the Argentines?

swim_chick
No, some might but it does not represent the whole population of uruguayans.
