Are you allowed to put your medication and drugs into your carry on bag on the airplane?
i want to put all the essential valuable items into that backpack and take it with me on the plane and just put clothes into the check in luggage. am i doing something wrong? how do i know whats right and whats wrong. anyways i have a lot of drugs and i took them out of their big cardboard boxes and stuff to save a lot of save. and i dumped the same bottle of pills into another one to fill it up of the same pill. im from north america going to all the south american countries.
All your medication must be in its original bottle with your name on it. Liquids can be over 3 oz., but you have to check with the TSA personnel *before* you go through security.

Prescription drugs must be in their original labeled containers. My Rx bottles each describe the meds in them {small white oblong tablet with s on one side and 23 on the other side} This is so they can be easily identified and not substituted for another medication..I would only take them in your carry on..if your luggage gets lost you will still have your meds..have a great time, but straighten out your meds.

Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem as long as you have a prescription for everything you're carrying. You should always keep medications in carry on luggage.
However if you have any narcotics, you probably want to make sure you have the actual prescription bottle with you, rather than just having them dumped in any old container.
