Argentina or Chile? I am going to South America to teach English/have a good time which country is more fun? |
I am fluent in Spanish, LOVE to dance, LOVE to go out at night to diff bars and clubs, and really want a good environment, meaning friendly, fun, exciting. What is the difference between the Chile and Argentina in terms of culture? Which would you recommend based on what I am looking for? Thanks! |

If you really love the night, then Buenos Aires is your spot! :)
They are both rich countries in terms of culture, but Argentina is definetly more friendly, you'll make friends as soon as you get off the plane!
Only one piece of advice....you'll compite with me, I'm an English teacher! =) Joke!
Have fun! It's gonna be a great experience for you
Buena suerte! |

I haven't been to Chile, but I've heard that Santiago is a great place. I've been to Buenos Aires, and can tell you that is a fantastic city with LOTS of nightlife, dance clubs, restaurants, friendly people. You will love it, for sure. |

I bet you'll find Argentina is much more fun, specially Buenos Aires for nightly activities, dancing, going out, theaters, dining, etc. Argentina is a much larger and diverse country and the people is somehow less prejudiced and weary than Chileans. Lots of cultural activities round the year, lots of young people and also foreigners working in the city. And don't miss the rest of the country, its plainly awesome. |

Argentina has more to offer for sure is bigger and the people is more friendly, taller and the food is more diverse for some reason Chileans don't have many friends in south America if any.
you can teach in Argentina ,Peru or Uruguay i recommend the tree of those countries because Uruguay is very similar to Argentina and Peru is booming with a great economy and industry the pay is good and the people is the friendliest, usually Chile is more expensive because they don't produce oil and the buy most of their food from Peru and other countries around the area; so bottom line choose between Argentina,Peru or Uruguay. those are very good. |
