In Brazil you will have an immense diversity of different places with different aspect because of the great diversity of settlers.
Like this being you can choose among forest with the presence of native Brazilian, beaches in the northeast with African influence, beaches in the northeast with Portuguese influence, beaches in the southeast with French influence, the central plateau with rivers of crystalline waters, the European south with strong German influence.

It is only to choose, I advise to visit the south, Holambra is a beautiful city with Dutch influence and the largest plantation of flowers of Latin America.

Colombia all the way. Bogota. Cartagena,. San Andres Island.. Providencia. Barranquilla, Popayan. Melgar, San Augustin, Los Katios. Leticia, Eje Cafetero, Great coffee, beautiful women (better skin tone that brazil IMHO) Villa De Leiva, The Cathedral made of salt at ZIpaquira, Fishing at Neusa, Guatavita, Giradot, Black pottery you can only get in Colombia and some obscure place in Mexico. Friendly people. Not dangerous if youre not stupid. Dont go to Choco. Dont go to Guajira. Dont go to Cucuta. Youll love colombia. San Andres Island is best seen from a rental golf cart. The blow hole is fun, the lobsters are great, the diving is good.

your lucky your going on vacation. my mom is sending me to my grandma's to Colombia as punishment. but since you dont have to stay with any mean grandma's, you'll defenitley have fun there. the people are really neighborly and fun to be around. the sceneries there are breathtaking and the seafood amazing!

Columbia is not a safe place to visit. Brazil isn't too crazy about Americans either.

here are a bunch of reasons why
1 at the moment the president of the country is is Ãlvaro Uribe who is one of the only south american presidents who is ANTI-Guerilla, this i due to a miss fortune he had when Guerrilla (A.K.A FARC forcas armadas revolucionarias de Colombia - armed revolutionary forces of Colombia) kidnapped his father - asking for Ransom, then after Uribe payed the Ransom FARC murdered his father thus his hatred to the FARC making Colombia safer than Brazil
2 In Colombia they speak Spanish which is more common than portuguese and in Colombia there are a lot of English speakers since English is extremely important in Colombia
3 in Colombia you can enjoy both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific sea in one day with cheap plain flights or bus rides if you wished and you can actualy go to the Caribean to the island of San Andres which belongs to Colombia unlike brazil witch just has the Atlantic
4 you can also Visit the Amazons if you like jus like Brazil
5 in Colombia the people will trat you with great hopitality since they see you as help for the country as in Brazil they see you as some fast cash we have all heard off the horrer stoyies that have come from Brazil . they have even made a Movie about it - Paradise lost
6 There are so many places to visit like Cartagena , Medellin , Cali , Barranquilla , Santa marta ....ect

well there you have it 6 big reasons to go to Colombia
Colombia is Cheaper safer and better for all the right reasons
